Never before has a footy team mascot got his own radio show.

Last weekend the Canberra Raiders stunned Canterbury in a 34 to 6 victory which moved the team into the NRL’s top eight.

To help them get fired up for this week’s make or break attempt at a finals place, Mix 106.3 has allowed the Raiders’ Viking mascot Victor to take over the station for 5 hours.

This Sunday from 10am till 3pm Victor the Viking will be playing a bunch of songs to fire up the mighty Green Machine and motivate the sport mad city of Canberra to support its team.
