Want to play at Splendour? triple j unearthed can get you there

Triple j is seeking a dance/electronic/hip hop act who likes long walks on the beach, garden parties and hanging out with friends. The station will get the successful band a gig at the Splendour in the Grass festival.

Australia’s biggest winter festival is on again this July 25th and 26th and it features the likes of Bloc Party, The Flaming Lips, Jane’s Addiction, and MGMT.

Triple j is offering a successful band the opportunity to play a spot on the bill. The successful dance/electronic/hip hop act chosen in the j’s competition will be flown to the festival, put you up in a hotel and given a place on the Mix-Up stage on July 25th.

After their ‘Unearthing,’ last year’s winners Art vs. Science have gone from strength to strength; earned high rotation on triple j, released an EP, toured nationally, and tee-ed up major festival shows in their own right.

The station is promising to love you in the morning too: “Triple j doesn’t just take you out for the biggest night of your life and leave you feeling awkward in the morning – we’ll continue to support you throughout your flourishing career,” says the station.

All the entries can be heard, and discussed on the Unearthed site. Entry details and more info at the link below.
