Madison Noronha (Chatham), a Campaign Design specialist for ARN and Wave FM 96.5, had just gotten married and was in the Netherlands on her honeymoon with her new husband when she suffered a fatal brain aneurism.
Madi had studied Communications and Media at the University of Wollongong where she was recognised for her outstanding academic performance before working in media sales for Grant Broadcasters. She’d been with Wave for more than two years.
Madi’s friends and colleagues have started fundraising to bring her home and assist with funeral costs. More details are in the story below.
This is not a discussion about the causes of cerebral events such as a brain aneurism.
It does not discriminate between age groups and classes.
I knew of people who had a brain aneurism.
In one case, a fellow classmate in year 10 collapsed and spent several months at RPA. He survived, married, is working and has a son in year 11.
In another case, I knew of twin sisters. One of the twins felt tired, decided to lie down and rest. She died at 26. Her surviving sister is 72.
Then we have the wife of former NSW Premier Mr Bob Carr, Mrs Helena Carr, die in the arms of her husband while travelling through Vienna Austria.
Life ain't necessarily a linear progression of events and sad unexpected events occur at any age.
There but for the grace of God, go I.
May she rest in peace and may her husband find comfort, amen.
