This morning WSFM‘s Jonesy and Amanda Put It On The Tab for 150 commuters at the BP Service Station in Kellyville. Vehicles queued patiently from 6-9am. When the $10K tab ran out, Jonesy and Amanda added another $3000.

A listener called Sheila took to Facebook afterwards saying:

“Thank you WSFM with Jonesy and Amanda for the free fuel. It was so desperately needed, as my petrol tank was empty. I am struggling to cope with my bills and have been putting my petrol on the credit card for most of this year. I am so grateful that I didn’t have to use my credit card today. I love listening to your show and I think it is great that you are able to give back to the community through amazing ideas like “put it on the tab.”

The ‘Put It On The Tab’ campaign has previously treated listeners to free coffees and movie tickets with more items to be added to the tab in the coming weeks. This morning they were even rewarded with a rainbow.
