At the Cats, Zach played 168 matches, including their 2022 grand final win over Sydney, before retiring at the end of the 2024 season. He also played four International Rules matches for Ireland and recently visited the South African jungle as a contest on the reality television series I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
Zach joins Mill & Nic in the Morning this Thursday, March 6 and will be part of K rock Football’s coverage of the Cats clash with Fremantle from GMHBA Stadium on Saturday, March 15.
Geelong Broadcasters General Manager Rachel Patterson said:
“We are thrilled to have this great man join Geelong Broadcasters. He brings a wealth of football knowledge and experience, and is in equal measure – a born entertainer, with a quick wit, wicked sense of humour, and solid set of values. Whilst we’ll miss seeing him on the field this season, audiences will be delighted to hear him live on-air with K
rock Footy and bay 93.9.”
