Abbey Cullen is leaving her role on workdays for Triple M 981 in the Goldfields region of WA, a dream role in her home town where she has left an indelible mark (Abbey pictured speaking at recent Women’s Leadership Forum).
She’d moved there from the Nova Network and Sydney at the start of 2024 to take over breakfast from long running host Glenn Wilson, who had become the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder mayor. A year later, as SCA condensed their local offerings out west, Abbey shifted from breakfast to her current role remaining in the Goldfields and keeping involved in the local life.
She is now moving to Perth and a new role still with SCA and broadcasting to Broome and Kalgoorlie, but with the Hit Network.
