ARN’s iHeart, in partnership with BlakCast Podcast Network, have launched Access Granted with Lowanna Grant a new series featuring candid conversations with some of Australia and Aotearoa’s most influential and recognisable personalities.
Wiradjuri and Western Arrernte woman Lowanna Grant will offer listeners a gateway into stories of resilience, representation, and ambition from household names including Brooke Blurton, singer Troy Cassar-Daley and presenter, journalist as well as Lowanna’s mother, Karla Grant.
Lowana has a decade of experience broadcasting and presenting with NITV and SBS Australia with the new podcast serving for thoughtful, engaging conversations that delve deeper into the lives of her guests. The start of every interview begins with the simple question ‘tell us something we don’t know about you or that might surprise us,’ and from there unique conversation follows.
The first two episodes are available now, the first episode with Lowanna herself, from her love of health, fitness, and wellbeing, to the lessons passed down by her family. The second sees Lowanna chatting with Brooke Blurton, who discusses the labels that media has put on her, the pressures she has felt as a proud Indigenous woman and her struggles with mental health and grief while being in the spotlight.
Lowanna said:
“As a proud Wiradjuri and Western Arrernte woman, storytelling and sharing knowledge is in my blood. Access Granted was born from a deep desire to sit down with some of Australia and Aotearoa’s most influential voices and dive into conversations that go beyond the surface. This podcast is about breaking the façade and uncovering stories of resilience, representation and ambition and creating space for yarns that people may not have heard before. I’m incredibly proud to partner with ARN and BlakCast to amplify these voices and share stories that connect, empower and leave a lasting impact.”
BlakCast Podcast Network Founder Mundanara Bayles added:
“We are proud to support the launch of Access Granted with Lowanna Grant. The podcast reflects BlakCast’s focus for 2026, amplifying strong First Nations voices and supporting authentic storytelling that connects, informs and inspires.”
New episodes of Access Granted with Lowanna Grant will be released every Friday and available on the free iHeart app or wherever you get your podcasts.
