Broadcaster, journalist, and much-loved Kiwi personality Brodie Kane has brought her acclaimed Kiwi Yarns podcast to MediaWorks and rova, with more Brodie Kane Media projects in the works.
Brodie joins rova from Stuff and will continue to champion honest conversations, big laughs, and relatable stories from everyday New Zealanders through to well-known local voices.
She said:
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be joining rova and the amazing team at MediaWorks. It’s a bit of a full-circle moment for me too, my first job as a journalist back in 2007 was at MediaWorks, so it’s been lovely to see some familiar faces already. Brace yourselves for a brilliant year of podcasts; I can’t wait for you to get your earholes around them!”
Head of Content at MediaWorks, Leon Wratt, said:
“Brodie Kane makes brilliant podcasts for New Zealanders, shows people genuinely care about and that perfectly aligns with what we create and feature everyday on rova. We’re stoked to welcome her back to MediaWorks and to continue building our support of Kiwi creators who know how to spark conversations and build real audiences.”
Chief Digital Officer at MediaWorks, Matt Headland added:
“Brodie joining rova is a powerful addition to our digital ecosystem, bringing together a proven creator, a highly engaged audience, and a platform built for scale. Partnerships like this accelerate rova’s growth by driving deeper listening, stronger brand alignment, and new commercial opportunities for advertisers wanting to connect with premium local content. It reinforces rova’s position as the home of New Zealand’s most influential podcast voices.”
The new season of Kiwi Yarns launches with Louis Davis on rova and wherever you get your podcasts Monday February 2, with new episodes weekly. And for fans of The Girls Uninterrupted, more news on that coming very soon.
