Hamish and Andy reminisce in new season of the Remembering Project

Season five of Hamish & Andy’s Remembering Project has been released with fresh memories from the archives of Australia’s top ranking podcast duo.

So far there’s been 2,500 shows, 26,000 segments and 20+ years of radio which listeners can enjoy throughout the summer break.

In the first episode, Andy Lee has found their first broadcast on community radio more than 20 years ago and digitised it from cassette.

Lee said:

“While moving recently I found the old cassettes from our SYN FM community radio days and had them digitised for a special launch episode of Remembering Project – I now have proof that Hamish has run late to every show for 20 years!”

Across 12 episodes the duo share some of their most classic moments, including the one and only time that Andy swore on air, Ronan Keating’s fashion faux pax in 2009, important lessons learnt including how to catch Steven Seagal and Andy’s GOAT moment, which is still amazing.

LiSTNR Original Podcasts Head of Entertainment & Culture, Sam Cavanagh, said:

“Season five of Hamish & Andy’s Remembering Project is the best yet.  Featuring both legendary moments, and forgotten gems, it’s the perfect podcast companion for the summer holidays.  New episodes of the Hamish & Andy podcast will return in 2024, but in the meantime, fans can join in as the boys reminisce on the highs and lows of their 20+ year career.”

The fifth season of Hamish & Andy’s Remembering Project is a LiSTNR exclusive. The Hamish & Andy podcast is also available there and the pair will feature on Drive as part of SCA‘s summer lineup.
