I’d been wondering would produce KIIS 101.1 breakfast supporting Kyle and Jackie O when they launch next week and the answer is a familiar face, with Lachlan Mansell returning to the show.

Mansell first came to my attention as a contestant on Beauty and the Geek, which he and his partner Kiera won in 2021. He is affable, charming, a great entertainer and a trained journalist. ARN saw his potential after the series ended offering him a job producing Kyle and Jackie O on Sydney’s KIIS 106.5. Mansell then gave on air solo a go, spending the last 10 months doing workdays at ARN’s Power FM Ballarat.

With that experience under his belt it’s now back to Melbourne as K&J gets their final ducks in a row ahead of the launch Monday April 29.
