ABC breakfast host Ross Solly (pictured) has retained No 1 spot in the second GfK survey of Canberra for 2026 with Radio National’s Sally Sara 2.5% gain and a 10% share for NewsRadio further boons for the public broadcaster.

It was also positives for AmplifyCBR stations Mix 106.3 and Hit 104.7. Mix was up to a 24% audience share and Hit retained second, with the biggest overall gains (+1.5 to 14.8%). Kristen and Nige on Mix 106.3 were marginally down to a 20% breakfast audience share (Ross Solly was up 1.1 to 21.8) but the former will be affected somewhat by Nige Johnson being away on leave for some of the second half of the survey period.

Capital Radio Network station 2CC made it a particularly good survey for talk stations in the nation’s capital, holding near 50% of the audience surveyed. 2CA suffered the biggest losses.

Mix continued to dominate in mornings and afternoons with Larry Appley and Pat Griffin both having around 30% audience shares.
