Leisel Jones, Liam Flanagan & Spida Everitt confirmed for Triple M Gold Coast Breakfast

This was all over bar the announcement. In 2025 Triple M Gold Coast will have have Leisel Jones, Liam Flanagan and Spida Everitt, hosting the local breakfast show. The confirmation comes after Ali Plath shared on air last week that her and Al Dobie’s contracts weren’t renewed, but that Spida’s was.

Leisel and Liam move to the Gold Coast after also being dumped from the Triple M Brisbane Rush Hour show to make way for a networked drive show for all of Queensland and NSW hosted by Marty Sheargold.

Alongside the departure of Ali and Al this also means than Flan, Sean Flanagan, will no longer pop up on Breakfast. The other part of the Triple M Brisbane Rush Hour trio, Ben ‘Dobbo’ Dobbin, has hinted on Instagram that he is heading to a nightly program with the Ms.

Another person who hasn’t (yet) found a gig for 2025 is Dale ‘Daisy’ Thomas. He had been put on Triple M Melbourne Breakfast with Wil Anderson and Rosie Walton with a week’s notice after the abrupt departure of Marty Sheargold in July with that ‘interim’ show growing its audience to pull ahead of Kyle and Jackie O on KIIS 101.1 with minimum fuss or fanfare.

He too said on Instagram:

“I’m not too proud to say that I was disappointed to not get the nod to continue next year, but that is just all part of it and like you all, I’ll be tuning into Mick In The Mornings from Jan 20.”

It might be worth planting a Daisy at a rival network.
