3AW and 2GB will support Ovarian Cancer and Motor Neurone Disease research in June

2GB and 3AW have named their partners of choice for their Supports initiatives in June.

Launched last month, the program is designed to help drive awareness and raise funds for vital local and charitable organisations in Sydney and Melbourne.

Each month, 2GB and 3AW will champion a different charity, spreading the word of critical community groups while helping to raise much needed funds to support their endeavours.

The program is part of a broader initiative from all of Nine’s talk radio stations and is underwritten by $1.6 million in airtime and production each year.

In June 3AW will partner with Ovarian Cancer Australia and 2GB will partner with The Macquarie University Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Research.
