80’s music leads the way: DAB+ survey results

It is the 80’s mix of stations (WSFM,GOLD,97.3,Mix,96FM) that are again on top of the DAB+ stations for the five metro markets.

With a combined audience of 343,000, up 20,000 on S6, they lead Coles Radio on 298,000, followed by the 90’s stations (KIIS,97.3,Mix,96FM) with 250,000, then MMM CLASSIC ROCK with 224,000.

In Sydney Coles Radio (105,000) is just in front of KIIS 90’s (99,000) and smooth relax (98,000), and then WSFM 80’s (95,000)

2CH DAB+ dropped away in this survey, down 17,000 from 91,000 in S6.

These charts show the DAB+ only stations. Figures for the AM/FM stations that are also broadcast on DAB+ are included in the main results here.

In Melbourne, GOLD 80’s dominates with 116,000, followed by KIIS 90’s and smooth relax both with 88,000.

In Brisbane, Coles Radio remain on top (57,000) from 97.3 The 90’s (48,000) and 97.3 The 80’s (47,000).

Coles Radio (26,000) is leading in Adelaide, only just in front of MMM CLASSIC ROCK (25,000) while smooth and triple j unearthed are not all that far behind on 19,000 each.

96FM 80’s is a long way out in front in Perth with 67,000, up by 21,000 for S7, while smooth is next best with 53,000.
