Nova 969 is giving away its heavily refurbished ambulance to a lucky listener.

Of course, it is not just any ambulance – this one is described as the hottest party pad this side of Ibiza! Nova says it has given the vehicle so much intensive care that it makes P Diddy’s yacht look like a tinny.

Gone are the ‘stinky’ vinyl seats and the out of date medical equipment, replaced by more gadgets than a modern hospital including a 68 cm Panasonic flat screen tv, a $1000 Sony Xplod car stereo, an Ashton’s electric guitar and amp, the new look Sony PlayStation 2 and the U2 iPod.

Nova is appealing to interested listeners not to call 000 but, instead, dial Lizzy and DC during Nova 969’s ‘The Arse About Countdown’ on 133 969 every weeknight from 6.00 and tell them your story about when you ended up in an ambulance. The best one each night will go into a draw and the winner will be given the rego papers for this amazing party pad on wheels (it even has a siren!).

Ironically, the giveaway has been generously sponsored by 1800 Reverse. Until last week, the ambulance caused no end of grief by refusing to drive forward and working only in reverse. Nova assures us it has since been fixed!
