Archie (Sam Arenson) and Henry Bretz have been announced to replace Todd & Sami on the Sunshine Coast’s 92.7 MIX FM Drive. The pair have worked together before, winning Best Comedy Segment at the 2024 Australian Commercial Radio Awards while at Power100 Townsville.
Around the same time Bretz left to try his luck in the UK and Archie was joined by Donny on breakfast until the pair jumped over to Star 106.3 at the start of March. They’ve been making great content together including the current Archie and Donny’s Locked Away for 10K, but now ARN will be seeking a replacement and Archie & Bretz are reunited to bring their freewheeling, friendly, and unpredictable style to the Sunshine Coast.
Of the move and replacing locally beloved Todd & Sami, Henry Bretz said:
“Working in radio anywhere with your best mate is a pinch-yourself opportunity, but to step into the incredible show built by Todd & Sami is a genuine honour. Archie & I cannot wait to work day and night to build the same rapport and connection that Todd & Sami had with the Sunny Coast community. As a proud Queenslander, I’m buzzing to be back in the sun and working with Archie, AB (Annabelle Brett), Mark (Darin), and the entire Mix team to build on the station’s success. While we will sorely miss the 3:30am alarms, bring on Drive!”
Adding to that, Sam ‘Archie’ Arenson said:

Archie & Bretz will officially launch their new Drive show in early November keeping the Coast company from 3pm – 6pm weekdays.
