Brisbane-based duo goes prime time on the Hit network

‘Those Two Girls’, Brisbane’s Lise Carlaw and Sarah Wills, will present breakfast across the Hit Network nationally from December 2, for two weeks!

They have been wowing the country all year with their early-morning national show, 5am to 6am weekdays, and now they will get to set their alarms a teeny bit later when they host the National Breakfast Show across all Hit stations Australia during December.

The Hit Network says that the opportunity to host the national breakfast show is another indication that Australia has fallen in love with the Brisbane besties and their self-deprecating, irreverent and playful humour.

Lise and Sarah say “It’s an absolute honour to get the call-up, and so rewarding our friendship and humour seems to be resonating across Australia. We have a ball together during our national early breakfast show, so to play and chat to a couple of million people leading into Christmas has us pinching ourselves,”

“At the end of the day, we’re simply real-life besties having a laugh together. On the downside, we’re told the cameras will be turned on in studio during that stint, so we can’t roll in to work in our PJs – boo!”

There are now two national shows broadcasting out of Southern Cross Austereo’s Brisbane studio, ‘Those Two Girls’ and comedy duo, ‘Collective Noun’, who are on-air across the Hit Network each weeknight.
