Bryce Ruthven makes a move from the country to the capital

Bryce Ruthven has joined Hit 104.7 Canberra to host afternoons and weekend breakfast alongside Ellie Mobbs & Jason Roses.

The 2018 ACRA winner of Best Music Presenter in the country category has most recently worked on Gippsland’s TRFM.

Bryce told radioinfo that the most interesting part of the move “… Definitely working in a competitive market like Canberra, that’s full of people like myself who have moved here to continue their careers.

“From what I’ve seen in the past week since arriving, it’s a very modern, clean city that embraces a fresh face to the nation’s capital, which has been a huge positive with settling in to my new home!

“So we’ve got the two boys, Ned & Josh, on breaky who welcomed me on arrival with a few ‘welcome drinks’ which was great.

“Gemma, who I work alongside on workday, has been fantastic since the moment I decided to make the move to Canberra and of course Rod Cuddihy our CD, he has been unreal and very welcoming, making sure I’m settling in fine. He is someone who I know can help take me to another level on air both as a music announcer and with the Weekend Breakfast team.
