Full Moon Friday for listeners and Mick Molloy and the Triple M Melbourne breakfast team

Hundreds of Triple M listeners traded Melbourne’s winter for a little bit of Bali last Friday when Mick in the Morning hosted a Full Moon Party at General Assembly on South Wharf.

The riverside venue was transformed into a tropical playground. Listeners shed their woolies to embrace the Balinese theme of Hawaiian shirts, singlets, thongs and leis, while one lucky attendee walked away with the ultimate prize – a trip to Bali thanks to Avalon Airport.

Hosted by Mick Molloy, Nick Riewoldt, and Rosie Walton, when Titus O’Reily was unavailable Triple M’s Dangerous Dave Williams stepped up and into the DJ booth, packing the dancefloow and keeping the crowd going well into the evening.

This morning Nick Riewoldt admitted he was still recovering:

Nick: “My voice has gone! I still haven’t recovered from Friday’s Full Moon Party.”

Mick: “General Assembly was turned on its head! Well done to everyone who turned up and embraced the spirit, everybody looked fantastic.”

Nick: “It went off!”

Mick: “Dangerous Dave – or Denpasar Dave – was a big hit! He had the crowd in the palm of his hands.”

Speaking of palms – how about the on hand masseuses at the party too!
