Hamish & Andy to be broadcast in Dubai

Already syndicated across Australia and New Zealand, from October 3rd, Hamish & Andy will add to their international presence as they hit Dubai’s airwaves through the Arabian Radio Network on Dubai 92 every Saturday morning.

The boys have recently returned from their American Caravan of Courage where they drove across the States. Whilst abroad the boys made their US debut on Jay Leno Show, introducing their Ghosting sport to the world with hilarious results.

Since launching their national Drive show in January 2007, Hamish & Andy have taken radio to Afghanistan, a Tall Ship in the middle of Bass Strait, to 42 parties across three states in one weekend, and to Caravan Parks in some of Australia’s most remote areas in past Caravan of Courage journeys.

Former Radio Newcastle GM Steve Smith who is now Chief Operating Officer of the Arabian Radio Network said, “We are incredibly excited to welcome Hamish & Andy to Dubai 92.

“There is a huge Western Expat market in Dubai made up of Australians, News Zealanders, South Africans, Brits and the Irish, all of which Hamish & Andy will appeal to.

“In my 20 years in radio Hamish & Andy are the most talented duo I’ve seen come out of Australia – their dominant ratings over the past two years plus their ability to make everyday life hilarious will certainly go down well here.

“Hamish & Andy are a class act and we are incredibly grateful to have them join Dubai’s best radio station, Dubai 92.”

Hamish & Andy are currently heard on seven Austereo stations in Australia, 18 stations in New Zealand, plus this year their show was syndicated to over 40 regional Australian stations.
