Hit100.9’s Jimmy & Nath WOW the Tasman Highway

Hit100.9’s Jimmy & Nath have WOWed the Tasman Highway after a Clarence Alderman said the road is too ‘boring’ for visitors and there is a need of more ‘WOW’.

On their Hobart breakfast show last week Jimmy & Nath were chatting about the article in The Mercury, getting Hobart to call in and give their best  “WOW,” as Alderman Brendan Blomeley, now known as “The Big BB,” called in to explain, “Over 60% of visitors to Tassie arrive or leave via the Hobart Airport and we can do a hell of a lot better when it comes to a presentation of our state.”

Giving Tassie just what they deserve from the major highway, Jimmy & Nath brought the WOW to the Tasman Highway with Nath saying “There’s only 1 three lettered word, starting with W, that I can use to describe this show from a Highway… WOO! …. Did I say that right?”

According to Jimmy, “The only disappointing thing was when Owen Wilson didn’t show up! Next time we’re going to invite Post Malone…”

The special guest joining Hit Hobart across the morning was local musician and super-talented friend of the show, Hugo Bladel who performed an original song, dedicated to WOWing the Tasman Highway, including live-looped beatboxing, guitar, bass guitar and an original rap.

The special guest and man of the hour, Alderman Brendan Blomeley joined the team live on site at the end of the show to throw in his best “WOW” and thank Hobart for their whole-hearted support.
