Mix 106.3 streaks further ahead in Canberra, ABC up in latest GfK radio ratings

ARN’s Mix 106.3 has further increased its lead in the latest GfK radio rating Survey 2, with the ABC also seeing a healthy increase.

Mix was up 1.6 with an audience share 10+ of 25.8, with ABC Canberra the only other station with a significant gain, up 2.7 to 11.1.

In breakfast, the Hit 104.7 pairing of Ned and Josh lost the ground it was making on stablemates Kristen and Nige on Mix, down 3.9 to 12.5. 2CA’s new pairing of Holmsey and Scotty also dropped slightly with Mix, ABC Newsradio and Triple J seemingly picking up the difference. Kristen and Nige have a 26.1 audience share (up 3.4), more than double anyone else.

ABC Canberra’s breakfast with Adam Shirley remained steady, but afternoons and mornings in particular with Lish Fejer saw big gains with Fejer up 5.8 to 13.5.

Cumulative audiences, Mix again were the big winners, up 13K to a 162K audience share 10+. The other surprise packet was ABC Newsradio, who also grew up 13K to 60,000.
