Colourful commentator Paul Henry, the man Kiwis love to hate has returned to New Zealand Television and radio in a new simulcast venture by Media Works.
The new breakfast program titled “Paul Henry” is broadcast live from 6 to 9am on Media Works TV3 as well as Radio Live and streamed live on Media Works online platform.
After taking an extended Christmas holiday break following the wrap up of his TV3 night time talk show “Paul Henry Live”, the often controversial presenter appeared in his suit jacket and unbuttoned shirt in a purpose built studio designed to look like a hybrid version of a radio studio and a breakfast set built for television.
However, Paul Henry is not flying solo this time around, news presenter Hillary Barry now joins him and sports guy Jim Kayes.
For nine months in 2012, he also co-hosted the failed Network Ten show “Breakfast” which ceased production on 30 November 2012, due to low ratings.
