The ABC program absolutely made to demonstrate the power of podcasting, Conversations will see host Richard Fidler take a break for the next couple of months on what Radioinfo assumes is well deserved long service leave.

Conversations, which Richard has been involved with since 2006, is the most downloaded podcast in Australia. It was the most listened to on Apple in 2023, and on global measure Podtrac last month. The straightforward concept of a long form interview with a guest is the gift that just keeps giving.

Richard has shared the hosting duties with Sarah Kanowksi since 2018, Richard doing Mon-Wed, Sarah, Thursday and Friday. Sana Qadar from Radio National‘s All In The Mind will fill in for Richard until the end of the survey year and the Christmas and January break will see highlights until late January 2025.
