Tomorrow, Friday, November 28, will be the final show for the axed KIIS Brisbane Breakfast radio team of Kip Wightman, Robin Bailey and Corey Oates.

It has been just over a month since they were made aware that they wouldn’t be continuing with Craig ‘Lowie’ Low announced to replace them at the ARN Upfronts the following week.

The trio weren’t scheduled to finish until December 12 and had experienced a significant uptick in listening in GfK Survey 7.

Yesterday Kip and Corey announced that they are joining former NRL star Sam Thaiday for an unofficial Broncos-themed podcast.

What ARN will do for the next two weeks, and over the summer, remains to be seen. Lowie could make his debut early, and unexpectedly nab some listeners who have professed to go elsewhere upon Robin, Kip and Corey’s departure. Or, Brisbane could get a couple of weeks of Kyle and Jackie O. The two weeks to December 12 are measured in GfK Radio 360 Survey 8, which is released Tuesday January 19, 2026.
