Station Manager Matt Bern to depart Territory FM

Matt Bern of Territory FM (TFM), Charles Darwin University (CDU)‘s radio station, is leaving for other opportunities after a decade as Station Manager and starting as a volunteer himself 15 years ago.

He championed and oversaw the move to new studios last year, in Danala in the Education and Community Precinct. The new studios allow students to be able to walk past and engage with what is happening on-air.

In 2023 Matt received a CBAA Community Broadcasting Award for Excellence in Music Presenting and for Best Radio Program – Music for Fresh MiNT.

Territory FM is on the hunt for their new manager. Matt told the CBAA he’s also open to new work in the industry and taking some time out for a drone piloting course.
