While Kyle & Jackie O may have lost top spot in the shares, they reign supreme in the latest cumes for Survey 8, down just 1,000 listeners to a near record 817,000.

Fifi Fev & Nick (Fox FM) jumped up into second spot for stations in a single market with an additional 72,000 listeners for a total of 633,000, while Ross & Russel (3AW) added 58,000 for 599,000 at the end of the year.

Fox FM leads the station totals with 1.398M listeners, from smoothfm 95.3 (1.325M), KIIS 106.5 (1.320M), and GOLD104.3 (1.291M).

WSFM picked up 88,000 listeners overall with Jonesy & Amanda gaining 53,000 for the final survey of the year.

On the other side of the coin, Triple M Melbourne shed 105,000 listeners, though The Marty Sheargold Show held its own in breakfast, only down by 2,000.

SCA Chief Content Officer, Dave Cameron, says, “Today SCA has delivered the group’s highest national cume audience ever, with 6.131 million listeners across its Hit and Triple M networks.

“This result is led by The Fox in Melbourne, now holding the enviable record for the biggest cume audience ever for any Australian radio station, at 1.398 million people per week – an incredible result driven by Melbourne’s highest cuming Breakfast show, Fifi, Fev & Nick.
