Three new recruits as The Fox in Melbourne bolsters its team

Wood has worked for SCA for nearly 11 years and will be familiar on The Fox already as a weekend announcer. Current Afternoon presenter Kat Markey is leaving the station.

Wood said:

“I feel incredibly excited and grateful to come home to Melbourne and become the newest member of the Fox family! From listening in my bedroom, hassling Tracy & Matt and Barry Bissell for requests, to community radio in Melton where I tried to emulate that famous Fox magic, my lifelong dream has just come true. In my role I look forward to joining our team and building on our unmatched dedication to our city, Melbourne – the greatest city in the world!”

Gemma Prendergast (pictured above) and Emily Allen (below) have been poached from Nova and ARN respectively. Prendergast was Senior Producer of Nova 100 Drive across the last six years, and the recent changes that have seen the station’s former breakfast team of Ben, Liam and Belle move to what they’ve called Late Drive. Allen, whose new role will also cover the Hit and Triple M Networks, was a Promotion & Event Specialist at Chilli FM and LAFM.

These appointments are effective immediately and come as the local production and creative staff at SCA on the NSW Central Coast have been let go.
