Tony Verhoeven passed away peacefully in Sydney on Thursday 10 March 2022.

Tony started his radio career in 1970 at 2GN Goulburn and from there he joined 2CH during the Beautiful Music era.

He was also part of the John Laws success story during his time at 2UW, 2UE and 2GB.

Tony’s brother Peter Verhoeven, also a seasoned radio professional, has told radioinfo “Tony had great career with the greats in radio.”

“He was very passionate about his radio career – he will be missed.”
