All eyes were turned to Melbourne radio last week where KIIS 101.1‘s sister station Gold 104.3 had to resort to bin stickers (not chickens) to advertise The Christian O’Connell Show now all the budgets gone into Kyle and Jackie O. In Sydney though ARN has had enough budget left so that KIIS 106.5‘s sister station WSFM has not only moved with K&J to North Sydney but breakfast duo Jonesy and Amanda were also able to create a perfect wedding for listeners Lauryn and Jake in a week and create a fun new digital marketing campaign aimed directly at their audience (Yes you Greg).

Lauryn and Jake’s wedding has been postponed a couple of times due to family tragedy and cancelled cruises. Jonesy and Amanda and the WSFM team were able to pull together a picture perfect wedding, at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney, with Jones and Keller both in attendance and party mode and Amanda making a speech that had everyone in tears.

They’ve back up on Sunday morning with new TV ads complete with the tagline of “You know we’re always good in a crisis“. Have a watch below.
