The Triton Digital Australian Podcast Ranker figures for July have been released with no change to the top three – No 1, the Hamish and Andy podcast, 2, Casefile True Crime and 3, Mamamia Out Loud.
Hamish and Andy had 940K monthly listeners. Casefile True Crime dropped significantly despite releasing one more episode than H&A last month, with 750,000.
The Kyle and Jackie O show dropped one spot to fifth with The Imperfects up one to take their place at fourth.
The American podcast Stuff You Should Know dropped one place to 10th but had the most monthly downloads for their 17 episodes released in July, with near 2.4 million.
Also with more than two million downloads in July were Hamish and Andy, Casefile True Crime (second behind SYSK), Mamamia Out Loud and Kyle and Jackie O.
The highest debut, at No 33, is Dateline NBC a US news, documentary and true crime podcast which is being now supported by LiSTNR in Australia and in the top ten most listened to in America.
Elsewhere Wondery’s SmartLess moved into the top 10, with Podshape’s The Garden of Eden and several LiSTNR and SEN sporting podcasts moving up the ranker’s top 50.
