At 8 am on March 16 RED FM stations became Hit Radio and Spirit FM becomes Triple M as below -

  • 101.3 Red FM – Broome - Hit 101.3
  • 91.7 Red FM – Port Hedland – Hit 91.7
  • 96.5 Red FM – Geraldton – Hit 96.5
  • Red FM remote – mine sites – Hit WA
  • Spirit 98.1 FM – Geraldton – 98.1 Triple M
  • Spirit 102.9 FM – Broome – 102.9 Triple M

SCA CEO Grant Blackley says the focus will still be on local content and each community’s personality and values. “The Redwave acquisition takes our national radio footprint to 96 stations nationwide, to join Australia’s largest radio network and all the benefits that brings.”

New show line ups and announcers will also be revealed in March.
