The Hamish and Andy Podcast is No 1 again in the latest Australian Podcast Ranker, with over a million monthly listeners to the five episodes they released during August.
Second, and an usually long way behind was Casefile True Crime, with 661K monthly listeners, lower this ranker due to only three new episodes being released.
Four podcasts, Hamish and Andy, Casefile True Crime, The Kyle and Jackie O show (6th) and Stuff You Should Know (10th) had more than two million downloads across the month.
Australian’s love of solving a mystery continues unabated with Bravecasting and Acast’s Australian True Crime the highest debut at 16. Bravecasting have just joined the ranker, with Australian True Crime started four and a half years ago by hosts Meshel Laurie and Emily Webb and amassing regularly a million downloads a month. Also debuting at 62 is LiSTNR’s Secrets We Keep.
The biggest move in the top ten was the Shameless podcast, up three to 4th. LiSTNR’s catch up radio podcasts The Marty Sheargold Show and The Rush Hour with JB & Billy had the most impressive gains, up 10 places to 24 and 15 places to 28th respectively.
