No stopping Triple M 102.9 Newcastle in GfK Survey 1

It was another successful survey for Triple M 102.9 Newcastle.

The station went up 5 points to 22.0 for all people 10+, with all days parts seeing significant growth (evenings up 11.9). Recent OAM recipient Tanya Wilks and her colleague Steve G also were No 1 in Breakfast, up 0.9 to 20.9, a spot they and Triple M have retained for eight years.

There was positive change for Hit 106.9; up 2.8 overall with big growth in 18–39-year-old listeners. Their breakfast trio of Nick, Jess and Ducko closed the gap on Tanya and Steve, up from 12.0 to 17.5.

Most of the other stations remained steady with only 2JJJ seeing a significant drop, down 3.3 overall to 9.6, with their youth audience seemingly heading to either Triple M or Hit.
