Ray Hadley to stay at 2GB till the end of 2026

2GB’s Ray Hadley has signed with Nine Radio which will see him stay at the network till the end of 2026. Previously Hadley had not committed to beyond the end of his current contract which expires at the end of June 2024.

The 68 year old Hadley is famous for his commitment to his sporting commentary and talk back roles with an incentive for him to stay being Nine Radio’s chief commentator at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Hadley’s close friend and legendary NRL caller Ray “Rabbits” Warren retired last year after 99 State of Origin calls. Hadley will call his 100th Origin in 2024.

Tom Malone, Nine Radio’s managing director says,

“We are delighted that Ray is committing to broadcast his Number 1 show for another 3 years, call Rugby League, and commentate at the Olympics. Ray is a broadcaster of unmatched work ethic and likely never to be repeated success.”
