Ratings survey 6 results: New leader in Adelaide, good gains for Gold Melbourne, Mix Perth, ABC Radio Sydney

The 6th radio ratings survey results for 2023 have been released.

  • Across the country Gold had the biggest rise, up a massive 3.1 share points to 12.7%, moving it to second position in Melbourne
  • Mix 94.5 Perth gained 1.8 to score 12.9% and strengthen its third position in the market
  • ABC Radio Sydney had the biggest rise in Sydney, up 1.2 to 7.3%
  • In Adelaide  Triple M is the new leader with 11.7%, after Mix 102.3 fell into second place.
  • Triple j Adelaide gained 1.2 to score 4.5%
  • Disrupt Radio debuted on DAB+ with 9,000 listeners in Sydney, 12,000 listeners in Melbourne and 3,000 listeners in Brisbane (DAB cume)

The survey was conducted by GfK for Commercial Radio Australia between Sun Jul 9 to Sat Sept 16, 2023, during the football finals season, but excluding Grand Final weekend.
