KIIS1065 is once again the most listened to station in the country and Kyle and Jackie O the most listened to show with KIIS Melbourne’s Jase and Lauren also seeing a 27K growth in their breakfast audience.

In Melbourne Gold 104.3 dropped back somewhat from their phenomenal 155K cume leap last survey, down 20k with Christian O’Connell losing 58k from his breakfast show. The other Melbourne station particularly hard hit was Nova 100, not only did the station lose more 50k of its audience, Ben, Liam and Belle on breakfast has the biggest drop of all the breakfast shows, down 72k to an audience just over 500,000. KIIS 101.1 Melbourne’s Jase and Lauren picked up 30K new listeners, which is interesting with the ongoing speculation that Kyle and Jackie O might network to Melbourne. ABC Melbourne’s Sammy J also picked up more than 20k new listeners.

Sydney’s Triple M 104.9 saw the biggest drop in listeners overall, down nearly 70k. Mick and MG didn’t fare so well on breakfast either, down 31k. The worst loss on Sydney breakfast was by Bryce and Concetta at triple j seeing a loss of 43,000 to a listenership of 213K. triple j Sydney shed more than 60K too.

The biggest growth in listeners overall was 3MP 1377 who nearly doubled their listenership from 117k to 203k. Nova 96.9 Sydney had the biggest in Sydney, up almost exactly what Triple M was down. Good growth for B105 Brisbane, Mix 94.5 Perth and Triple M Adelaide.

Listening audience was down across the metro cities nearly 140K.
