Nova 100 and Jase and Lauren most listened to station and show – GfK Radio 360 Survey 4 cumes

Nova 100 and breakfast hosts Jase and Lauren are both the most listened to station and breakfast show in GfK Radio 360 Survey 4, 2025. Nova 100 just pipped network stablemate smooth 95.3 in Sydney as No 1 station overall.

ARN will also have reason to be happy this survey with the second most listened to station in Melbourne and Sydney (GOLD104.3 and KIIS 1065 respectively). Kyle and Jackie O regained ground in both states, Jonesy and Amanda and Gold 101.7 too saw big gains.

SCA was No 1 in Brisbane with B105. Stav, Abby and Matt had the same cumulative audience tuning in as Jonesy and Amanda. Triple M stations saw steady growth in listening audience to their new breakfast shows in Sydney and Melbourne.

smooth 91.5 dropped the largest share of audience in Melbourne, perhaps impacted by sporting seasons. 3AW also fared poorly losing the mantle of No 1 station and shedding listeners across the day and in breakfast. Sydney’s Nova 969 also dropped. Kate Ritchie has now been absent from the breakfast show for five months and this survey showed signs of listeners starting to look elsewhere.

A result that looks anomalous, out of context, is the 60K increase in cumulative audience to ABC News Radio breakfast in Sydney. This will be the result of Australian curiosity in the Mushroom Trial case that has played out publicly in the last three months. The ABC’s Mushroom Case Daily podcast has had millions of monthly downloads with ABC News Top Stories in June the top podcast on the Triton Australian Podcast Ranker. It would appear that the case has had more impact on listening in Sydney than Melbourne, despite the case playing out in Victoria. ABC Sydney and Craig Reucassel also saw a significant growth in listening audience.
